The Iron Game has lost another legend. RIP Jules Bacon.

Kenny Guess, who writes the Guess Column for Natural Champion, is currently featured on the cover of Classic Anatomy Magazine (CAM), a free monthly online magazine devoted to drug free bodybuilding. CAM is published by Steve Speyrer, who was featured in the September Issue of Natural Champion Magazine. Check out this very nice feature on Kenny at (www.classicanatomymagazine.com).

While we’re on the subject of Classic Anatomy Magazine, Natural Champion Magazine editor, Arley Vest, was the subject of an article “Meet Arley” in the January Issue of CAM.

We were pleased to hear from Lisa Hughes, our August, 2006 cover feature. Lisa writes that she is moving across country (Canada) to Vancouver, where she has accepted a position running a nail salon. Lisa says she is going to miss her family and friends “like crazy” but she’s excited about the change. Lisa also mentioned that she hurt her sacro-iliac in gymnastics practice and that set back her training for awhile but she’s on the road to recovery. We’ll give you updates on Lisa in future issues.

Bodybuilding Pioneer and Legend Dan Lurie…Your editor has recently had the pleasure of some very interesting and enjoyable conversations with Dan Lurie, one of the true pioneers and enduring legends of the world of bodybuilding.
Dan Lurie was founder of the Dan Lurie Barbell Company, the publisher of Muscle Training Illustrated, and a guiding force behind the World Body Building Guild (WBBG). He was also a top competitive bodybuilder (Three Time AAU "Most Muscular Man in America" ) and the start of the Sealtest Big Top TV Show (he was featured as ‘Sealtest Dan, the Muscle Man).

Dan is now in the process of reviving Muscle Training Illustrated and the WBBG and we at Natural Champion support his efforts and, in fact, may very well be a part of the entire process.

We’ll bring you updates in next month’s News ‘N Views section and hope to have a comprehensive feature article on Dan Lurie in the near future.
