Matt Shepley of the OCB (Organization of Competitive Bodybuilders) informed us that bodybuilding legend Chet Yorton, former Mr. America, Mr. Universe, and one of only three men to ever beat Arnold Schwarzennegger, will be on hand to present the overall awards at the third annual OCB Yorton Cup National Championships in Pittsburgh, PA, on November 4, 2006.
It has been nearly 25 years since Chet Yorton disappeared from the bodybuilding scene. On March 3rd & 4th 1978 he held the first ever drug tested bodybuilding contest in Las Vegas, NV. He founded the Natural Bodybuilders Association, and launched Natural Bodybuilding magazine. He lead the charge for natural bodybuilding's birth up until 1982-1983 when he mysteriously disappeared from the scene, and has been off the radar ever since. Now... twenty four years later his presence will once again be felt in the natural bodybuilding world.
