We are saddened to announce the passing of Mickey Hargitay, Mr.
Universe, 1955, motion picture actor, former husband of the movie star
Jayne Mansfield, and father of Emmy Award winning actress Mariska
Hargitay. Mickey
was by all accounts a gentleman and a caring and devoted family man. Our
condolences go out to the Hargitay family.
As Jeff Preston so
eloquently phrased it on the IronAge.us forum, “It's not a death to
mourn but a life to celebrate.” RIP, Mickey Hargitay.
